Description
Однако применение валкового транспортера приводит к получению ленты стекла с некачественной поверхностью , с отпечатками валков, с царапинами и тому подобными дефектами .Devices are known in which horizontal movement of sheet glass after a rolling or other glass-forming machine is carried out by a roller conveyor. However, the use of a roller conveyor results in a glass ribbon with a poor-quality surface, with roll imprints, scratches and similar defects.
The proposed device eliminates the possibility of formation of defects on the glass surface, since it is made in the form of a bath filled with molten metal, on the surface of which the glass ribbon moves.
1.FIG. 1 shows a general view of the proposed device for transporting sheet glass installed after the rolling glass-forming machine; FIG. 2 is a cross section through AA of the device according to FIG. one.
The bath J, filled with molten metal 2 to level 3, is covered by arch 4 and is closed laterally with end walls 5 and 6. The latter are provided with inlet 7 and outlet 8 windows for glass ribbon.
A tube 9 is mounted into the bath arch, through which an inert or reducing gas is supplied to the subsurface space of the bath. At the bottom and under the vault of the bath, liquid or electrothermal regulators 10 are mounted with the help of which provide the required temperature of both the gaseous medium of the bath and the molten metal.
Дно ванны может быть ровным или при желании создать градиент температур - ступенчатым (на чертеже не показано).The bottom of the bath can be even or, if desired, create a temperature gradient - stepwise (not shown in the drawing).
Подсводовое пространство ванны может быть снабжено горизонтальными (не показанными на чертеже) перегородками, образующими реку№ 114373- 2 -The substation space of the bath can be provided with horizontal (not shown in the drawing) partitions forming the river No. 114373-2 -
ператор, или самосто тельным рекуператором дл подогрева впускаемого в ванну газа.a perator, or an independent heat exchanger for heating the gas injected into the bath.
The metal used to fill the bath must be inert with respect to the substance from which the bath is made and with respect to the atmosphere above the bath; it must not be able to form reaction products that adversely affect the quality of the glass.
Experiments have shown that, of all ordinary pure metals, tin meets all the requirements for such a bath, but it is unprofitable in production because of its high cost. Lead also meets the above requirements, but it is installed in an installation that removes toxic gases formed at high temperature.
The metal may be heated by using an induction electrical system with heaters or electrodes immersed in the bath. In order to obtain such a temperature difference in the bath, so that the lower surface of the glass re-melts first, and then solidifies, either the amount of energy applied to the heaters or the depth of the bath is controlled, and the latter is reached more slowly, for example.
For filament of the gas inlet space, ordinary luminous gas can be used, which provides a reducing atmosphere in the upper space, and the gas is supplied under pressure, providing a slight excess pressure in the upper space. Such a reducing atmosphere is necessary when the bath consists mainly of molten tin.
Formed, for example, between the rollers, a ribbon of glass passes through the support rollers through an inlet window into the bath.
The passage on the surface of the molten metal, the lower surface of the glass ribbon softens, melts and is subjected to liquid polishing with the molten metal.
The upper surface of the glass ribbon is subjected to the same heat treatment and polishing under the action of a high-temperature gaseous medium.
Upon further movement, getting into the lower-temperature zone of the bath, the polished surfaces of the glass ribbon harden and the last roller conveyor goes to the glass cutting workshop.
Subject invention
Устройство дл транспортировани в горизонтальном направлении листового стекла, отформованного на прокатной или другой машине, отличающеес тем, что, с целью одновременного полировани нижней поверхности ленты и снижени ее трени , оно выполнено в виде замкнутой ванны, наполненной расплавленным металлом, например оловом, по поверхности которого в защитной газовой среде движетс лента стекла .A device for transporting in the horizontal direction sheet glass formed on a rolling or other machine, characterized in that, in order to simultaneously polish the lower surface of the tape and reduce its friction, it is made in the form of a closed bath filled with molten metal, for example tin, on the surface of which in a protective gaseous environment a glass ribbon is moving.
