Description
00 a: yel The invention relates to the chemistry of precursor cellulose, namely to the production of water soluble kzrboxy methylcellulose with increased viscosity of aqueous solutions, and can be used in paint and varnish, textile, ceramic, perfume, petroleum, pharmaceutical and other industrial industries. where the use of low-toxic thickeners based on cellulose ethers is required. A known method for the preparation of carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) by treating the initial aqueous-alcoholic suspension of cellulose with monochloroacetic acid in the presence of salts of boric acid Cll. The resulting CMC has a high homogeneity of substitution; its aqueous solutions are transparent even when salts are added, but their viscosity is relatively low (up to 2000 cP when using wood pulp as a raw material /. The closest result to the technical essence and the achieved result is The method of obtaining CMC by suspending cellulose in a mixture of an organic solvent (including isopropyl alcohol) and water, adding an aqueous or alcoholic solution of caustic soda, then processing it with heating monochloroacetic acid or together with trichloroacetic acid 23. As a result, products with poorly controllable degree of crosslinking of CMC are formed, in which there is a very significant amount of completely insoluble fraction (up to 42%). The viscosity of 1% aqueous solutions does not exceed 3370 cP at their measured transparency. The use of organic solvents and toxic di- and three chlorine derivatives of acetic acid in the synthesis reduces the processability of the process. The purpose of the invention is to obtain CMCs with increased viscosity of aqueous solutions while maintaining their transparency. This goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method of obtaining CMC by suspending cellulose in isopropyl alcohol, it is added. an aqueous solution of caustic soda, followed by dry monochlorine treatment with acetic acid when heated and the release of the target product, wood pulp is pre-impregnated with 4-10 wt.% - aqueous aqueous solution of dimethylolurea, containing 0.6-1.2 wt.% - ( module 40–50, followed by pressing to 2.0–2.5 times the mass and thermo formers, ISO ISO ISO C. Treatment of cellulose with dimethyl urea solution when heated in the presence of leads to its crosslinking in amorphous regions, which ensures uniform pulp sterilization. The content of the insoluble fraction formed by CMC is sharply reduced, while the viscosity of aqueous solutions of CMC exceeds its value for the prototype. The resulting CMC is characterized by MK spectra and elemental analysis data. The transparency of the solutions is evaluated by determining the turbidity on the nephelometer. % aqueous solutions, measured in a rotational viscometer at 25 ° C and a voltage of 2 25.12 dyn / cm. In the United States, Germany, and the United Kingdom, the standard instrument for viscometric measurements is Brookfield viscometer. Actually, in analogs, the conducted viscosity values of the solutions were obtained using a Brookfield viscometer. Numerical readings of a Brookfield viscometer 2.6-2.7 times obtained from a rotational viscometer standard in the USSR. Thus, the maximum viscosity given in the prototype does not exceed 1300 cP, in terms of the rotational viscometer readings. Example 1. 1.5 g of air-dried wood pulp in the form of a folder are treated with 60 ml of a 4 wt.% Aqueous solution of dimethylolurea (module 40 / containing 0.6% CU2. After 20 minutes, spin to weight 3, O g 12-fold mass excess relative to the mass of the original cellulose) Then it is dried for 24 hours. At that, the amount of dimethylolurea in terms of glucopyranose unit is 0.05 mol. The dried sample is heated at 150 ° C for 20 minutes. The resulting material is loosened and placed in a 100 ml flask containing 22.5 mp of isopropyl alcohol (module 15), 4 ml of a 30% aqueous solution of NaOH (i.e. 4.3 mol per glucopyranose unit) are added with stirring . After homogenization of the mixture, 1.8 g of dry monochloroacetic acid (i.e., mole per glucopyranose unit) are added with constant stirring. The reaction mixture is heated at 50 ° C for 20 minutes. The product is separated from the alcohol solution on the filter and washed with 10% aqueous acetic solution.
