The invention relates to a drying technique, in particular to the drying of loose matte materials, for example chopped herbs. According to the main author. St. N ° 932158 is a well-known plant for drying bulk materials used for drying crushed fodder in agriculture, which contains a drying drum installed rotatably through end trunnions in bearings, the trunnion on the loading side has a radius not exceeding half the radius of the drum, and the drum from the side opposite to the load has windows evenly spaced around the perimeter of its cylindrical part. Drying drum is enclosed in a cylindrical case equipped with an electric inductor powered by industrial frequency current and a discharge hole, thermocouples and contact rings for removing the electrical signal are placed on its surface, and the drum itself has a dielectric layer with internal insulated compensation wires one of the hollow trunnions to slip rings. The installation also contains a hopper with chute entered into the axle cavity {. The disadvantages of this setup are the increased heat consumption for the drying process due to significant heat loss and insufficient drying intensity. The goal of the acquisition is to intensify and increase the efficiency of the process of drying bulk materials and, in particular, crushed herbs. This goal is achieved by the fact that in a plant for drying bulk materials the dryer drum is provided with a nozzle in the form of rectangular honeycombs mixed axially on half of their longitudinal side. Moreover, the height of each cell of the combs is 1/3: 2/3 of the drum radius. FIG. I schematically depicts the proposed installation, the overall appearance; in fig. 2 - honeycomb, view in axonometry; in fig. 3 - tumble dryer, cross section. The installation includes a drying drum 1, which is coaxially connected on the loading side through a flange 2 to a hollow journal 3, fitted with a bearing 4 fixed on the front side 5 stationary. 6. The chute 7 is inserted into the cavity of the trunnion 3. From the discharge side, the dryer drum I also has a trunnion 9, on which is placed a bearing 10 fixed on the front side 11 of the fixed casing 6. The trunnion 9 is connected via a pulley 12 and a gearbox 13 to the drive 14. On the side of the unloaded drum I, along the perimeter, is provided with windows 15, and the cells 16, which consist of longitudinal plates 17, are connected in a staggered manner with transverse partitions 18 rigidly attached to its inner surface. The drying drum 1 has thickening along the ends audio 19, and its envelope is made of an insulator 20, inside which the compensatory insulated wires, on the one hand connected with the thermocouple fixed on the drum surface, and the other - with a contact ring (not shown). A shutter 21 and a fan 22 are connected to the lower part of the casing 6. The casing 6 is also powered by an inductor 23 connected to the control panel 24. Thermocouples (not shown) for measuring the temperature of the housing are connected to cable 25. The installation operates as follows. After the installation, the alternating magnetic field of the inductor 23 heats up the surface of the drying drum 1, the temperature of which is controlled using thermocouples (not shown). After the required temperature has been reached, a free-flowing material is fed from the hopper 8 through the chute 7 into the drying drum I. Here, the material enters the cells 16 in which it is heated by contact with the hot inner surface of the drum. When the drum rotates, the material is stirred, moving along the drum along a spiral path, is gradually dried and through the window 15 and the shutter 21 is led out of the installation. By adjusting the temperature and the slope of the dryer drum, you can create the desired drying mode for any bulk material. The presence of the nozzle in the form of combs 16 reduces the amount of relatively cold air sucked into the dryer and eliminates its direct contact with the hot surfaces of the drum and, therefore, minimizes heat loss. The best results are achieved with the height of the combs, which are 1 / 3-2 / 3 of the radius of the drum.
