The invention relates to heat transfer and can be used for high-temperature heating of air. Regenerative air preheaters are known, comprising a case filled with a nozzle and connected to nozzles for supplying and discharging heating and heated coolant 1. Not; the remainder of the known air preheater is its low reliability and efficiency when using a dusty heating heat carrier obtained by burning solid fuel, how its dustiness leads to the slagging of the nozzle and, as a result, to an increase in its resistance and practical failure. The purpose of the invention is to increase efficiency and reliability by cleaning the nozzle from slag. This goal is achieved by the fact that in a regenerative air preheater containing a body filled with a nozzle and connected to nozzles for supplying and discharging heating and heatable coolants through shut-off valves, the body is made in the form of a vertical 1L-shaped tube e by mixing the upper level into the tanks in both its branches x in one horizontal plane and provided in the lower part of the slag tap. FIG. 1 depicts an air heater, a longitudinal section; in fig. 2 shows section A-A in FIG. 1. The air heater contains a vertical D-shaped case 1, filled with nozzles 2 and 3 with their upper level placed in both branches of case 1 in the same horizontal plane. The housing 1 is equipped with nozzles 4-7 for supplying and discharging heating and heated coolants through shut-off valves 8-11 and is equipped with a slag tap 12 in the lower part. Each branch of the housing 1 has domes 13 and 14 in the upper part. The air heater works as follows. During the heating period, with closed valves 10 and 11, heating gases with a temperature of 1800-2000 ° C through valve 8 and nozzle 3 are fed under dome 13 and enter nozzle 2. Then the cooled combustion products go under dome 14 and are removed through nozzle 4 with valve 10. When moving along the nozzle 2, the heating gases are cooled and at the temperature of the transition of the ash into the liquid-fusible state, introduced with the products of combustion of solid fuel, its solidification begins and the transition to the solid phase, which ends at the temperature of the beginning of softening. In the lower part of the nozzle 2, in the range of the temperatures indicated, ash accumulates on the nozzle 2, as a result of which it is partly slagged. During the period of air heating, it moves in the opposite direction through the nozzle 2. After a significant slagging of the part of the nozzle 2, the directions of coolant supply are reversed, the valves 11 and 9 are opened, and the valves 10 and 8 are closed. During the heating period, the heating gases through the shut-off valve 11 and the pipe 6 are fed under the dome 14, from where the nozzle 2, then the cooled products, you get under the dome 13 and are removed through the pipe 5 with the valve 9. At the same time, the previously slagged part of the tank 2 is in a zone of temperatures greater than the temperature of the slag melting, and here the transition from solid to liquid state of the ash that has previously adhered to the nozzle occurs, the melt of which is removed through the slag tap 12. Simultaneously at temperatures lower than the temperature specified above, the other part of the nozzle 2 is slagging. After new slagging, the flow direction of the coolants changes again, the shut-off valves 9 and 11 are closed, and the valves 10 and 8 are opened, i.e., the heating and cooling of the nozzle 2 is the same as originally, etc. Application The proposed air preheater makes it possible to increase its efficiency and reliability by periodically deslagging the nozzle.
