I; на фиг. После чего цикл повтор етс .Rig.1 The invention relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to equipment for shredding wood. A knife drum is known, comprising a housing with blades fixed between segments and brackets by means of knife holders and clamping elements 1. A disadvantage of the known knife drum is the high labor intensity of service. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the complexity of service. The goal is achieved in that the knife holders are coupled with the housing by means of guides, and with the clamping elements by means of locking joints. Each detachable connection is formed by an annular groove, which is made on the clamping element, and a retainer plate rigidly attached to the knife holder, with the side walls of the groove covering the pad. The guides are made in the form of straight grooves in the end portions of the knife holders, while the locking elements are placed in the grooves. FIG. 1 shows a knife drum, cross section; in fig. 2 shows section A-A in FIG. I; in fig. 3 is a view B in FIG. 1. The knife drum comprises a housing 1 with segments 2 located around its circumference and brackets 3 with clamping screws 4. The blades are pressed to the plane 5 segments 2 with the help of knife holders 6 7. The knife holders b are made of an elastic material and have a cross section that decreases to their ends, form a convex support surface. Knife holders 6 are matched with clamping screws 4 by means of detachable locking joints 8, each of which is formed by an annular groove 9, made on clamping screw 4 and fixed by means of a locking plate 10 fixed to the knife holder 6. The end sections and clamping screws 4 are spherical and placed in grooves 12 knife holders 6. On the front portions of the knife holders, b, straight guide grooves 13 are made, in which cylindrical parts 14 of the fixing screws 15 are mounted in the drum case 1. The knife 7 is made of plate and has one or two cutting edges. Segments 2 have grooves 16 for moving the knives 7 and setting them up to the amount required for departure a relative to the working surface of the drum. Segments 2 are fitted with wear-resistant cover strips 17 and linings 18. The installation in the working position of another cutting edge of the knife 7 or its replacement is carried out as follows. After blunting the cutting edges of the knives, unscrew the clamping screws 4 until the locking plates of the knife holders rest in the brackets 3, after which the knives are taken out towards the inside of the knife drum, which is located outside the chip machine. Then the knives are set again so that the sharp cutting edge is set at the magnitude of the desired departure a relative to the working surface of the drum. Next, the knives 7 are fastened with the help of clamping screws 4, which are screwed into the brackets 3. At the same time, the knife holders b are moved by means of the directed grooves 13 towards the planes of the 5 segments and deform them until the gaps on the ends of the knife holder 6 are selected. and each knife is securely pressed 7. Wood is chopped to blunt the cutting edges of the knives. After which the cycle is repeated.
