Недостатком известных сучкорезных установок является то, что обрезанные сучья хаотически падают на землю, что не позволяет известными способами перерабатывать сучья: отделять древесную зелень и получать качественную технологическую щепу. По этой причине сучья полностью не используются. Обрезанные сучья упираются в корпус 20 сучкорезного устройства 3 и остаются в ориентировщике-накопителе.
