The invention relates to mining, in particular, to tools used in drilling directional and multilateral wells. A stationary deflection wedge is known, including a housing in which there is a chute, detaching, a unit consisting of two cones, wedge-shaped caps, a branch pipe and a stem 1. Also known is a stationary deflecting wedge, including a housing with a chute and its mounting in the well. consisting of sliding cams and drive brush 2. The disadvantage of these devices is the impossibility of firmly fixing the wedge in the horizontal and rising wells, since the proper weight of the wedge is directed downward from the well and, therefore, between For sliding retractable elements, the force of their adhesion to the walls of the well will not be enough to hold the wedge. The purpose of the invention is to increase the reliability of the stationary wedge in horizontal and rising wells. This goal is achieved by the fact that, in a universal stationary wedge comprising a housing with a groove and a fixing unit in the well, the wedge fixing unit is designed as mounted on the housing with the possibility of radial movement of wedge knives connected to each other through a gear gear mounted on the housing. FIG. 1 schematically shows a universal stationary wedge; FIG. H - section AA in FIG. 1. A universal stationary wedge consists of a body 1, in which there is a chute 2, and a wedge fastening assembly in a borehole, including wedges 4 and 5 installed in a longitudinal groove 3 of the body 1, to prevent the wedges from falling out of the groove 3 of the body 1 in the knives there are grooves 6 and 7, into which axles 8 and 9 are inserted, fixed in housing 1. Wedge knives are interconnected via gear teeth 10 mounted on the housing, and the movement of wedge knives in opposite directions occurs when and the action of the teeth of the pinion 10 with the teeth 11 and 12 located on the inner edge of the knives. The device operates as follows. The wedge is fastened with rivets to the end of the drill pipe (not proven) and is delivered to the bottom of the well. When the wedge is pressed into the face, the wedge knife 5 moves towards the body 1, rotating the bristle 10, which moves the wedge knife 4 towards the knife 5, wedging the body of the wedge in the face on both sides, the technical and economic effect of using the proposed device is to reduce material costs associated with the installation of wedges on the bottom of wells of any direction (inclined, horizontal, rising) due to the secure wedge against the walls of the well, preventing the wedge from falling out or turning.
