Known corn harvesting machines, as well as adaptations to grain harvesters for separate harvesting of cobs and corn stalks, having, as the main working bodies separating the cobs, steamed corrugated rollers, have a very complex structure of both working bodies and non-emit mechanisms. At the same time, they do not differ in high productivity and do not provide an adequate quality of work, causing significant damage to the cobs by the rollers.

In the devices according to the invention, these drawbacks are eliminated by the fact that, in order to simplify the design, it uses cross-sectional, L-shaped, spring-loaded paired knives mounted on a common rotating shaft and equipped with restraints to prevent knives from cutting into the corn stalk.

On platform 1 of the header of the harvester, racks 2, supports 3 and bearings 4 mount a transverse working shaft 5, which is driven by a chain transmission 6 from the common gear mechanism of the harvester.

On the shaft 5, a cutting mechanism is installed against each row of plants harvested, which consists of two crosses. Each beam of the crosspiece consists of a corner bracket 7, on which the L-shaped knife 8 is installed, passing through its base into the slot of the bracket 7 and pinned with pins 9.

The knife 8 has from the outside passing through the holes of the bracket 7 pins 10 with springs // enclosed between the linch pin 12 and the bracket 13 of the bracket. On the inner side of the knife 8 fixed stop-limiter 14.
