A device for measuring the amplitude modulation factor up and down, comprising a phase shifter, an attenuator, an adder, a mixer with a generator, an oscilloscope, a reading attenuator, an output connected to serially connected intermediate frequency amplifier and an indicator, and an amplitude modulated signal generator that includes an amplitude modulus torus (AM) and generators of carrier and modulating oscillations l. The disadvantage of this device is the inability to measure the division factor at different frequencies. A device is known for measuring the division factor and frequency error of attenuators, which contains a master oscillator, to the output of which a voltmeter is connected and the input is calibrated. (verified) attenuator-ira, the output of which is connected to the first input of the mixer, the second input of which is connected to the local oscillator. The output of the mixer is connected to the input of the sample attenuator, the output of which is connected to the input of the amplifier, rf the interim frequency, to the output of which the indicator 2J is connected. A disadvantage of the known devices is the significant measurement error of the division factor and the frequency error of the division factor of the attenuator due to different conversion factors of the frequency converter in the working frequency range of the attenuator. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of measurements in the frequency range. This goal is achieved by the fact that in a device for measuring the division factor and frequency error of attenuators, containing a generator, an output connected to the input of a voltmeter and the first input terminal of the device, a mixer, the first input of which is connected to the oscilloscope input, the second input is connected to the output of the local oscillator, and the output to the input of the series-connected reference attenuator, amplifier interm. 1 exact frequency and indicator, an amplitude modulator, a crystal oscillator, an adder and a series connected phase shifter, an attenuator and a switch are entered, the output of the latter connected to one of the inputs of the adder, the second input of which is connected to the output of the amplitude modulator, and the output - to the first input of the mixer, the first input of the amplitude modulator is connected to the second input terminal of the device, and the second input to the output of the quartz oscillator. The drawing shows a block diagram of the proposed device. Device.contains generator 1, adjustable with attenuator 2, voltmeter 3, amplitude modulator 4, crystal oscillator 5, phase shifter b, attenuator 7, switch 8, adder 9, oscilloscope 10, mixer 11, local oscillator 12, sampling attenuator 13, amplifier 14 intermediate frequency indicator 15 and output terminals 16 and 17. The device operates as follows. To the input of the rotatable att.enu.tora 2, generator 1 receives a signal with frequency SI. When the division ratio of a tested attenuator is 1: 1 (O dB), a voltage is selected at its input so that, at the output of modulator 4, there is an AM signal with a downward modulation factor Mc | -100%, which is indicated by a characteristic figure on the oscilloscope screen 10,. The switch 8 is open during this operation. The voltage at the input of the attenuator is then kept constant (voltmeter 3), at each test frequency AND the AM signal at the output of the accumulator has the form N. and and i + n M.cos (...) lco5 w-t, (-1) t m L; j t where N is the harmonic number. The peak value of the coefficient ВVDg- and modulation downward is equal to (, .d.), (2) where M. - partial modulation coefficients; ci is the partial phase shift at modulation frequencies. As can be seen from (1), the modulation characteristic of a modulator for generality is taken in the form of a nonlinear relationship, which causes the appearance of partial frequencies 235 and so on. (generator 1 voltage is assumed to be sinusoidal). Then, on the tested attenuator 2, the attenuation coefficient is set with the nominal value of K at the frequency,. At such a voltage at the input of the 4 AM modulator, the signal at its output will look like (-IIm.co5 (, / co5wt, (31. As a result of the modulus non-linearity of the modulator ion characteristic) (The modulation factor for the signal (3) has the form ni.cos (), (4) (Then the switch 8 closes. Considering that the signal at the output of the crystal oscillator 5 has the form .iCou (Lii-t. + if} f is set using the phase rotator b equal to 7 /, is chosen such that the modulation factor of the signal at the output of the sum of the matrix 9 of the form N tl m-cosi g "-1 t2.n) xcotot, (5) observed on the oscilloscope 10, is equal to and N And (), in - the amplitude of the signal of the crystal oscillator 5, at which "1, - 100%; m;" and "(and;, - and", "") t, ".. from where gp-1 t2vn p, -, iff.bc.) Then the readout attenuator 13 is set to the 1: 1 position (O dB) and the indicator 15 responds only to voltage with frequency u), i.e. (and -Urn2eh () Let its reading be but Yer. Then, the switch 8 is again turned off, and the division ratio of the attenuator being turned is set again to the 1: 1 position. At the same time, the signal (1) is set again at the output of the modulator 4, and the indicator 15 will register the signal with the amplitude fri-i. In this case, the reading attenuator 1J is set in such a position that the indicator reading again equals Ep. After that, the reading of the readout attenuator 13 will be equal to / and (§ (), ju.Cft.) Corresponds to m 1, the division factor K of the detectable attenuator at frequency Y is appropriate. The operations mentioned above are repeated at frequencies / Я .. .. As a result, the attenuator division factors yu {) are obtained. The frequency error is defined as. . (-N.} 7h p-: where} 1 2, 3 ,., The measurement error of the device is 0.03-0.3% in the range of 20 Hz - 0.5 MHz.
