8. Izves: N thermoEMF sensor, control of gas cementation process. The specified sensor is a copper thermoelement gland made in the form of a wire. The total thermoelectric ED signal removed from the working section of this thermoelement depends on the depth of the ironing of the thermoelement iron half, which can be used to automatically control the cementation process, i.e. its duration p.J The disadvantage of this sensor is that the speed at the angle IP of the sensor itself and the carburization of the cemented parts is different, since the diffusion rate of pure iron and steel is different. This leads to an error in the method of cementation control itself. In addition, the thermopower method cannot be used simultaneously to automatically control the value of the carbon potential in the pro-, gas grouting process. A device is known for monitoring the processes of chemical heat treatment of metals, containing a sensor in the form of two electrodes introduced into the working space of the furnace, made of metals or alloys with different solubility of hydrogen and forming a differential thermocouple, and A secondary electrical meter is connected from the electrodes. This invention is used in processes where it is required to control the hydrogen content in gases at high temperatures of 2j. Closest to the present invention is a wire sensor for automatically controlling the carbon noi-potential value, which is a thin wire of technically pure iron. The control signal arises due to a change in the value of the ohmic resistance of the wire during its carburization LsJ. The disadvantage of these sensors is the brittleness that occurs during the carburization process, which often leads to their rupture under increased production conditions. In addition, the sensors indicated cannot be simultaneously used for automatic monitoring of the carburizing depth of cemented parts, i.e. They cannot be used to automagically control the duration of the cementation process. The purpose of the invention is to increase accuracy and reliability. This goal is achieved in that the multi-position sensor, in the case of which current-collecting electrodes are located, additionally contains guide sleeves made of heat-resistant dielectric and abutting its lower pointed ends into the active part of the sensor so that the central electrode contacts the surface of the active part of the sensor, and side electrodes 1 located symmetrically along the diameter with respect to the central electrode are in contact, respectively, with the sockets of the active part of the sensor, located bubbled into the hardening zone at different depths. In this case, the active part of the sensor is made in the form of a disk of the same material as the processed abgals. The drawing shows the proposed sensor. The sensor consists of a steel case 1 covered with anti-cementing paste, three current collecting electrodes 2 made of chromel wire, centering insulating sleeves 3, a lid 4 of asbestos cement of the steel sample holder 5, the sample itself, which is the active part of sensor 6, sockets 7 and 8. The collector electrodes 2 pass through guide sleeves 3, made of heat-resistant dielectric, and abut their lower pointed ends at the active part of sensor 6, the central electrode contacts the surface The active part of sensor 6 and the side electrodes located symmetrically in diameter relative to the central electrode are in contact with two sockets 7 and 8 of the active part of sensor 6, respectively. The sockets 7 and 8 are filled with a diameter larger than the diameters of the current-collecting electrodes. The active part of the sensor 6 is made in the form of a disk of the same steel grade as the workpiece. The contact potential difference signal for the automatic adjustment of the carbon potential magnitude () is formed between the contacts (o, o (), and the signal (dioce), preliminarily li for the prompt control of the cycling of the cementing process itself, is formed between the contacts (O, b) during the carbonization process of the disk from its lower face side. The signal value (uUoA), as a first approximation, is determined by the formula Ktrc 6g Bp -f-} iuUoe bo where K is the Boltzmann constant; B - electron charge; Trc Tr G | - the temperature range of the process of chemical-thermal hardening and room temperature; So is the density of energy levels in hardened steel; O is the density of energy levels in the longitudinal sections (.O, B) of the cemented layer in the active part of the sensor. Since the density of energy levels (5) in the ground depends on the chemical composition of the surface, in this case:. Bd con st, and 5 L (/ o, c, i), Having this in mind, formula (1) can be written in the following form 4U3, - c, 8ni, .- Cj (2 ;, s, s, 4gne .5. E .. e Thus, the forming signal (uUo) between the contacts (a) and (o, c) depends on the ratio of carbon concentration (C) in some gap:; ohm section of the reinforcing layer and carbon (CQ) in the most hardening steel of the active part of the sensor at any time in the hardening process. In the process of cementation of parts in the U-105 furnace, chargeings are observed with a reduced depth of the cemented layer, therefore, it is necessary to perform cementation. Using the present invention, the required depth of saturation is established and the rework is reduced. The savings from the use of a multiposition sensor are 45 rubles. B year.
