Abstract

The set of specially treated non-woven fabric with antibacterial treatment for reusable full-body and all-day protection consists of a whole-body protective one-piece or two-piece garment / overalls (A) with at least one additional component: hood / headgear (B) and / or overshoes (C) on footwear, and / or gloves (D), and / or sleeves (E) of a breathable two- to three-layer polypropylene nonwoven fabric, one layer being an antibacterial filter layer containing a min. 1.2% by weight active silver and all components of the kit have zippers (1). The antibacterial filter layer with a content of 1.2% by weight of active silver is covered on both sides with non-woven fabric. The garment / overall (A) has a zipper located in the torso front and is covered by two flaps facing each other and overlapping (2). The garment / overalls (A) and accessory components have a suture whose sutures are resistant to the passage of pathogenic microorganisms and liquids.

Description

Field of technology

The technical solution relates to a kit for reusable whole-body and all-day protection made of a specially treated non-woven fabric with an antibacterial treatment, which is intended to protect persons against infection with pathogenic microorganisms. It is a matter of protecting persons exposed to a higher risk of infection by pathogenic microorganisms, such as rescue teams, police and customs forces, medical personnel, biological collectors, shelters and persons who come into contact with the public in the performance of their duties. The technical solution belongs to the field of personal protective and hygienic aids.

Prior art

At present, various methods are known for protecting humans, in particular against infection by pathogenic microorganisms. The lowest level of protection is the application of hygienic drapes and respirators. Hygienic drapes and respirators do not guarantee their wearer 100% protection against the infection, because it only protects the respiratory tract. A higher level of protection against pathogenic microorganisms can be achieved by using a protective half mask or mask in combination with a suitably selected filter. At that time, although the whole face and respiratory tract are already protected, other parts of the body are still not protected.

In the state of the art, there are also solutions for whole-body protection, especially against small dust particles. These are light protective suits Tyvek, Microgard, Micromax designed for single use, especially in the chemical industry. One well-known representative of such protective suits is the Overal Z2 paint-tex plus. It is made by the innovative Online technology, where a breathable filter membrane made by the melt blown technology is placed between two layers of polypropylene. It is designed for industrial, renovation and remediation work. The disadvantage of this protective suit is that it is only intended to protect against small dust particles, but no longer provides sufficient antibacterial protection. These protective suits are not suitable for the protection of medical staff in hospitals, emergency medical services and are not suitable for all-day wear as a so-called protective suit. Although these protective suits trap pathogenic microorganisms, they remain alive either on the surface of the protective suit or in layers of fabric.

For this reason, these suits must be decontaminated directly on the person and used protective suits must be disposed of after use. Additional personnel are required for these decontamination operations.

The not yet fully explored issue of methods of human protection, especially against infection by pathogenic microorganisms, evoked the current COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, to design an individual protection that would guarantee whole-body antibacterial / antiviral protection even with multiple use of protective clothing without the need for decontamination. The result of this effort is a set of reusable full-body and all-day protection made of a specially treated non-woven fabric with antibacterial treatment, which is described in this technical solution.

The essence of the technical solution

Deficiencies in the state of the art in the field of personal protective and hygienic aids, especially against pathogenic microorganisms in healthcare, rescue services, police and customs services, in persons collecting biological material, compartment workers and persons who come into contact with the public in the performance of their service, solves the proposed solution of a set of reusable full-body and all-day protection made of a specially treated non-woven fabric with antibacterial treatment according to the technical solution. The essence of the solution is that the set of reusable full-body and all-day protection made of specially treated non-woven fabric with antibacterial treatment consists of a full-body protective one-piece or two-piece garment / overalls with at least one additional component: hood / headdress and / or shoe covers, and / or gloves, and / or sleeves made of breathable three-layer nonwoven fabric. At the same time, one, resp. the middle layer is an antibacterial filter layer made of polypropylene with an active silver content with a minimum content of 0.7% by weight. active silver, which is covered on both sides with non-woven fabric. It is preferred that the active silver content is 1.2% by weight. The middle layer of nonwoven fabric can be of the melt blown type and has excellent filtering and sorption properties. It is a special sewing technology, the declared and achieved results are confirmed by the Institute for Testing and Certification, and. s., in Zlín. The sewing technology used itself is subject to know-how.

The advantages of the solution of the set of reusable all-body and all-day protection made of a specially modified non-woven fabric with antibacterial treatment according to the technical solution are obvious from its effects, which are manifested from the outside. The effects and originality lie in the unique combination of clothing as an overall and its accessories, such as a hood / headdress, gloves, mittens and shoe covers with a choice of material from which it is sewn and which captures microparticles, including coronavirus up to 0.125 pm. Bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) is higher than 99%, meets at least the FFP2 class and has a high breathability (Δρ approx. 21.96 Pa). Chemical or physical decontamination is not necessary after using this suit, because when the virus comes into contact with active silver, which is contained in one layer of nonwoven fabric, the skeletons of the viruses are disrupted within a relatively short time, the cells of the viruses are destroyed and die. Pathogenic microorganisms are unable to multiply on the surface, and thus die in a short time. Active silver deactivates them, kills them. Their cells are being destroyed. The method of undressing the overalls is original in that since the pathogenic microorganisms on the surface cannot multiply and are killed after a certain time, a person dressed in overalls can undress himself without the help of another person. Its individual components can be used individually or in any combination for various uses. For example, it is sufficient for a post office worker to have protected hands with gloves and mittens from the described set, because only the hands or forearms of the hands can be in contact in the unprotected zone behind the wall of the compartment. Or, for the safe movement of people in surgeries, waiting rooms, pharmacies, etc. it would be sufficient to have protected legs, resp. shoes with shoe covers from the described set, because only the legs, resp. shoes may be in contact in an unprotected zone with a floor that may be infested with pathogenic microorganisms. Or, when rescue personnel come in contact with a contaminated environment with pathogenic microorganisms, it is necessary to have the whole body protected with a full body protective suit as the main component of the kit and additional components from the kit, such as a hood / cap, shield, drape, respirator, half mask or full face mask. Full-body protective suit - overalls are sewn by sewing, whose stitches are resistant to the passage of pathogenic microorganisms, liquids and aerosols. It does not have to, but double protection can also be introduced, where the seams and sutures are taped, thus preventing the penetration of pathogenic microorganisms through the suture sutures. The zipper of the dark part of the full-body protective suit is covered by two oppositely oriented and overlapping flaps, so it is no longer necessary for the zipper to be covered with tape. Because the individual additional parts of the set, such as gloves, resp. sleeves, tightened with drawstrings to the overall, so it is no longer necessary to glue the joint with tape. In another variant, when the zipper of the torso part of the whole-body and all-day protective suit is placed on the back, an even higher degree of protection of the protected person against a person infected with pathogenic microorganisms is ensured, because the chest part of the whole-body protective suit is chest, as in prior art overalls.
