BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The prior art designs of electric switch actuators are designed as rocker actuators, the disadvantage of which is that they are not resistant to water intrusion into the trip mechanism, which is particularly dangerous for household appliances.

Other known designs of electric switch actuators, such as push-button and rotary, have the disadvantage that their designs are more complex.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

These drawbacks are largely eliminated by the actuator according to the invention, which moves in a rectilinear manner and is characterized in that it comprises flexible segments in the shape of x, provided with baffles with leading surfaces arranged in pairs facing each other.

The actuator according to the invention moves in a rectilinear manner and therefore does not protrude from the contour of the circuit-breaker, which is important in electrical appliances where it could accidentally come on when switched on accidentally. The controller covers the opening in the interior of the switch, thus preventing water from entering the live parts of the switch, which is essential for electrical appliances.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Actuator body 1 of FIG. ί. 1 and 2 comprise flexible segments in the shape of x with projections 3, which serve to be fixed in an electric switch. These flexible projections 3 are bent by means of the leading surfaces 2 after the actuator has been gradually inserted through the opening 4 in FIG. 2 until they open and limit the movement of the actuator.
