Avtomatizirana krožna žaga s previsno mizo pod kotom je namenjena čim lažjem žaganju drv, polenov in vej na poljubno dolžino. Osnovna izvedba žage je takšna, daje previsna miza pod takšnim kotom, da se po njem obdelovanci samostojno pomikajo. Sl. 1 prikazuje žago s previsno mizo pod kotom in tekočem traku. Žaga je namenjena žaganju polenov, drvov in vej premera od 4 do 24 centimetrov. Žaga je lahko gnana na traktor preko kardanskega pogona ali elektromotoija. Na ogrodje je poleg lista žage, hidravličnega ali električnega pogona, traku za transport drv, tritočkovnega priklopa, nog oz. podstavka in zaščitnih pokrovov pritijena tudi previsna miza. Previsna miza (2) je pod kotom pritrjena na ogrodje žage (6) s tečaji, ki s pomočjo hidravličnega mehanizma za izvajanje delovnega giba (1) omogoča pomik mize v delovno območje. Drva se dozirajo skozi odprtino na previsni mizi (2) in se zaradi teže in pravilnega kota avtomatsko popeljejo do mehanizma za zaznavanje prisotnosti obdelovanca (3) na koncu previsne mize.
