Abstract

The present invention discloses a sponge for washing the container (1) consisting of a soft part (2) and an optional abrasive part (3) which are glued together, characterized in that in the central part of the soft part (2) of the sponge (1) there is a notch (4) representing an entry into the pocket (9) extending from one side of the soft part (2) of the sponge (1) towards the opposite end of the soft part (2) of the sponge (1) and is closed on the opposite side. Also possible is the embodiment wherein the notch (4) representing the entry into the pocket (9) is located in the central part of the two opposite plural surfaces of the sponge, where the pockets (9) can be stitched or not. At least one cartridge (5) is inserted into said pocket (9), consisting of a soft envelope (5a) with notches (5b) in which there is a dishwashing agent, which can be replaced if necessary.

Description

A typical sponge is made of polyurethane foam, to which an abrasive layer can be attached. Methods for making such sponges are known in the art, for example, bonding with a polyol / isocyanate / activator system, wherein the activator is an aqueous solution of urea.

These sponges have a variety of shapes and sizes, but are generally sized so that they can be gripped in one hand and squeezed.

Description of a technical problem

When used, the sponge should be wetted with water and the detergent used to wash the dishes.

Once the detergent is consumed, it must be re-added, which is time-consuming to wash large quantities of dishes or to wash smaller quantities of dishes repeatedly.

Sponges for washing dishes that would solve the described technical problem are known in the art, but such sponges are pre-soaked with detergent at the factory. When the detergent with which such a sponge is soaked is used, we are left with the usual sponge, which must be added to the detergent for further use, as described above.

Sponges that would allow periodic dosing of detergent are not known in the art.

A technical problem to be solved by the present invention is a sponge, which allows the detergent to be dosed periodically, thereby providing a longer time for the sponge to be used, without adding detergent in the interim.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

Figure 1 shows a dishwashing sponge of the present invention in a typical square shape. The dishwashing sponge 1 consists of a soft part 2 and a thinner abrasive part 3, which are glued together.

In the central part of the soft part 2 of the sponge 1 there is a notch 4 representing the entry into the pocket 9 extending from one side of the soft part 2 of the sponge 1 towards the opposite end of the soft part 2 of the sponge 1 and closed on the opposite side.

In the case of larger sponges, the notch 4 may be located on either side of the sponge 1 and the pockets 9 extend from one notch 4 towards each other towards the center of the sponge, where they may or may not be in contact.

As shown in Figure 2, the insert 4 or the capsule 5 can be pushed into the notch 4 with the detergent dose 5. The shape of the insert 5 may be different; for example, it may be in the solid state (tablet), in the soft state (gel) or in the liquid state (liquid detergent). The cartridge 5 may be of any shape and size and adapted to the size, shape and purpose of the sponge 1 into which it will be inserted. The preferred shape of the cartridge is a pad or ball. Preferably, the insert 5 is made up of a soft sheath 5a, preferably made of silicone materials or soft rubber, having small notches 5b around the circumference, and a detergent 5c inside the sheath, preferably in liquid or in the form of the gel (Fig. 3).

With the increased need for detergent and / or larger sponges, two or more inserts 5 can be inserted into the notch 4, one after the other.

The material of the soft part 2 of the sponge 1 is preferably a soft polyurethane foam, foamed rubber or other suitable material. These materials are known in the art, so we do not detail them in detail. The abrasive materials used in such sponges are also known in the art, so they are not mentioned in more detail.

Description of the use of the device

Using a sponge with the cartridge described above 5, at each compression of the cartridge 1, at the same time, the cartridge 5 and the detergent are squeezed through the notches 5b in the cartridge sleeve 5a, flowing out of the cartridge 5 in a controlled manner, and penetrating the sponge 1.

When the detergent 5c contained in the cartridge 5a of the cartridge 5 is consumed, the emptied cartridge 5 is removed from the sponge 1 and a new cartridge 5 is pushed into the sponge.

It will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art that it is possible to change the shape, dimensions and arrangement of the notches of the sponge described, which does not significantly affect the performance of the described preparation. Such variations and embodiments are fully embraced by the present invention.
