Abstract

The aim of the invention is to provide the concept of a pet bottle, which can be produced according to the currently known procedures on existing devices for expanding thermoplastic materials, which are suitable for the production of classical PET packaging. At the same time this should facilitate the pouring of the contents in various directions regarding the jacket or level of the bottle's bottom. The pet bottle according to the invention features a uniform concept and consists of a bottom (1), a jacket (2) and a neck (3) attached to it, which includes a relatively rigid area (31) which encloses the outlet opening and which on its external surface (311) includes a thread (312) for fastening the cap (3) of the pet bottle. On the neck (3) there is apart from the specified relatively rigid area (31) a flexible area (32) anticipated, thanks to which it is possible to deflect the possible rigid area (31) of the neck (3) regarding the jacket (2) and the bottom (1) in at least two different directions.

Description

The bottle

In the context of working procedures and transportation, the invention belongs to the field of packaging, namely to bottles of uniform design and with a characteristic construction, in particular a grooved wall.

The invention is based on the problem of how to design a bottle, which can be made by known methods and existing devices for blowing thermoplastic materials, which are useful in the production of classic PET packaging, which should facilitate the leakage of the contents in different directions depending on the coat or the plane of the bottom of the bottle.

Many bottles in a uniform embodiment are known, typically consisting of a bottom and a jacket, which, at a suitable distance from the bottom, are usually narrowed and terminated by a relatively rigid neck surrounding the exit opening and provided with a thread to receive the stopper on the outer surface. The bottom is also relatively rigid and therefore allows a stable placement of the bottle in each place selected. Despite the fact that the jacket can be relatively flexible, the discharge of liquid from the bottle is generally only possible in one direction, in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the bottle. In practice, we often encounter a problem when the leaking fluid needs to be diverted to another direction; for this purpose, it is possible to use either a variety of additives, e.g. tubular adapters, which can be screwed onto the neck thread after removing the stopper.

As for the patent literature, CA 1,288,068 resp. U.S. Pat. No. 4,733,804 describes a handle that is provided with at least two sets of corrugated and / or corrugated wires in the area of the jacket. as bellows designed ribs to increase the deformability of the jacket. However, in this case, it is not a matter of adjusting the shape of the jacket according to the desired flow direction of the fluid in the desired direction, but of compensating the volume in case of changing the pressure inside the handle, which may be due to e.g. changes in outside temperature.

Furthermore, a bottle is known from EP 1 241 102 which allows changing the direction of the effluent relative to the longitudinal axis of the bottle. The bottle is equipped with ribs in the upper region of the coat, namely on the coat itself and near the neck, which are optionally used primarily for aesthetic purposes. Namely, a special nozzle, which is mounted on a relatively rigid door, is provided for diverting the current during the leakage of liquid. The bottle is therefore provided with a special accessory that allows said fluid to be diverted as it flows into the desired direction at a certain angle with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bottle.

The invention relates to a bottle which is uniformly designed and consists of a bottom, a sheath and a neck connected thereto, comprising a relatively rigid area surrounding the outlet opening and having a thread on its outer surface for attaching a stopper to the neck of the bottle.

According to the invention, in addition to said relatively rigid area, a flexible area is provided on the neck, whereby a rigid neck area relative to the mantle and the bottom can be deflected in at least two directions, preferably in at least two directions, and preferably in several different directions, by a considerable angle, preferably at least 30 degrees.

Said flexible neck region is preferably designed as a bellows and consists of a series of properly profiled and axially circumferential projections and constrictions arranged in the axial direction of the neck.

According to the invention it is further provided that each bulge is located either directly adjacent to each adjacent bulge or. vice versa, or in each case, the adjacent projections and the concavities are separated by at least substantially cylindrical or at least substantially conical intermediate sections.

Further, the circumferential profile of at least one projection is meaningfully formed by a geometric figure or part of a geometric figure selected from the group consisting of triangle, trapezoid, square, rectangle, circle, ellipse and oval.

Analogously, the circumferential profile of at least one indentation is meaningfully formed by a geometric figure or part of a geometric figure selected from the group consisting of triangle, trapezoid, square, rectangle, circle, ellipse and oval.

The bottle according to the invention is uniquely made and consists of the bottom 1, the jacket 2 and the neck 3. The bottom 1 of the bottle is relatively rigid and can be implemented in various ways, which is without any effect on the essence of the invention.

The case 2 of the bottle in the example shown consists of at least approximately a cylindrical or elliptical or other section 21, which is terminated at an appropriate distance from the bottom 1 by a tapered, laterally converging section 22, to which the door 3 is coaxially connected.

The neck 3 consists of a tubular, relatively rigid outlet section 31 which is provided with a thread 312 on the outer surface 311, which is adapted for screwing each (not shown) cover to said neck section 31. 3 is a flexible ribbed design, namely, a bellows-designed area 32, which is arranged between said relatively rigid area 31 of the neck 3 and the jacket 2 of the bottle. Owing to the presence of said flexible area 32, the neck 3 of the bottle towards the relatively rigid outlet area 31 is extremely flexible and allows the outlet area 31 to be tilted with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bottle or. makes sense with respect to coat 2 and bottom 1 of the bottle at least in certain directions.

Said ridge area 32 in the embodiment of FIG. 1 consists of a series of triangularly shaped and in the axial direction of the neck 3 in a profile and alternately arranged circumferential projections 321 and 322.

It will be understood by one of skill in the art that said projections 321 and profile 322 may be the same or different depending on the profile. Thus, the profile of the projections 321 and / or the projections 322 can be either triangular, trapezoidal, square or rectangular.

It is particularly advantageous (Fig. 2) if the profile of said projections 321 and / or recess 322 is rounded, namely semicircular, oval, elliptical or otherwise curved, thereby facilitating the flow of fluid through the inner surface of the neck 3 of the bottle in said region 32

It will also be appreciated by those skilled in the art that said projections 321 and projections 322 are arranged directly next to each other or separated from each other by a relatively short cylindrical or conical or other intermediate section, which is not specifically shown in the sketch.
