Izum se nanaša na področje strojništva, bolj podrobno pa področje orodjarstva, in sicer konstruiranje orodij za preoblikovanje pločevine.The invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering, and more specifically to the field of toolmaking, namely the design of tools for sheet metal forming.
Predmet izuma je parametrična konstrukcija orodij tj. prireznih, vlečnih, kalibrimih, upogibnih, obrezovalnih, prebijalnih in drugih orodij za preoblikovanje pločevine. Izum je sestavljen iz več referenčnih konstrukcij, ki pa skupaj pokrivajo večino konstrukcijskih značilnosti posameznih vrst orodij. Skonstruirana so referenčna orodja, ki so ob uporabi gradnikov z parametri in relacijami asociativno tako definirana, da lahko imamo z vnosom parametrov v kratkem času osnovo za nadalno konstruiranje kateregakoli preoblikovalnega orodja. Ker že na samem začetku konstruiranja orodja dobro vemo za kakšno vrsto orodja bo šlo, med razpoložljivimi izberemo primemo referenčno konstrukcijo. Takšne parametrično določene referenčne konstrukcije orodij ne vsebujejo oblikovnih delov izdelka, kar bi lahko bil eden od potrebnih podatkov o velikosti orodja in njegovih delov. The invention consists of several reference structures, which together cover most of the structural features of each type of tool. Reference tools have been constructed and, with the use of parameter and relation building blocks, are associatively defined, so that by entering parameters in a short time, the basis for the continued design of any transformation tool can be created. Since we know very well at the very beginning of the construction of the tool what kind of tool it will be, we choose the reference construction from the available ones. Such parametrically determined tool reference constructions do not contain the form parts of the product, which could be one of the required data on the size of the tool and its parts. The data about the tool, its size and the size of its components will thus be determined and entered into the computer by the constructor, and on the basis of this information the computer will generate a computer model of the desired tool, which will serve as a basis for the further construction of the tool.
Pri izdelavi posameznih parametrično določenih referenčnih konstrukcijah sem precejšno pozornost posvetil temu, da nisem omejil konstruktorja, ki bo takšno konstrukcijo uporabljal kot osnovo za konstruiranje orodja.
