Abstract

The subject of invention is the implementation of an improved bearing shield on the commutator's side of a direct-current commutator motor with permanent magnets, which - besides a simple connection of electric voltage to the motor - enables also a reliable guiding of brushes and a simple installation of the remaining necessary elements (capacitor, rectifier circuit board) without any special additional working operations. The improved bearing shield (10) on the commutator's side of the direct-current commutator motor with permanent magnets has a standard connection tab (15), the installation of which - in addition to the basic function of connection of electric voltage to the motor - enables also a function of a suitable electrical connection to a spring (13) of a brush (12) which can be put on a bolt (23) and a pin (16) of the capacitor (14) without any additional working operations. The spring (13) which is pressing the brush (12) to the commutator has been shaped in such a manner that it creates a component of the force in the direction of the arrow (F2), which is pushing the brush (12) against the walls of a guide (25), reducing thus the undesired noise and improving the commutation with the commutator. The very structure of the improved bearing shield enables also a simple upgrade of the direct-current commutator motor with the rectifier circuit board which can be mounted directly on the said bearing shield and does not increase the basic length of the motor itself due to the shield's effective consumption of space.
