Abstract

The invention deals with a ski binding, aimed at providing the necessary link between the available ski boot and available skating device, for example the so-called snowboard or ski. The invention is based on the problem how to provide an utmost simple ski binding, which would be as simply as possible and if possible without any use of tools, suited to meet the dimensions of any available ski boot, and would at the same time provide a sufficiently reliable connection between the boot and the available sliding device in the area of regular stress even in unfavourable weather conditions. According to the invention there is at least one treading surface (2), which can be slid along the available sliding surface, however featuring the possibility to fasten it in any suitable position, on the baseplate (1), which has a locking mechanism (20) or stirrup (30) for fitting to the corresponding area of the available ski boot connected by turning up.
