Subject of the invention is an electric insulated hand tool with snap-on mechanism, which allows the rotation or transmission of power only in a particular direction, while the direction in which the rotation or transmission of power is possible can be determined by two pushbuttons. The electric insulated hand tool with snap-on mechanism according to the invention, features inside the tool body (8), which is covered on the upper side by a sheet metal lid (5), and from the lower side by a lower sheet metal lid (6), a switching mechanism, controlled by two pushbuttons (11), which are covered by a soft diaphragm (7) and the tool itself is covered by an insulating cover (15).
