Abstract

The roof rail has an arc with a tubular frame (5) with a ferrule (6,7) at each end for attachment to the motor vehicle bodywork. A spacer (8,9) is fixed to the frame and is traversed by it. A casing (5) encloses the frame and has a lower section (13) and an upper section (14) which are fixed to each other, to the spacer and the ferrules. There can be several spacers.
