Abstract
A method for forming coloured gold alloy is disclosed. The method comprises coating a layer of oil on a gold alloy and heating the coated gold alloy at a 5 temperature selected based on the colouring on the gold alloy desired until the colouring appears. The gold alloy comprises gold, titanium, and at least one other element. The titanium content in the alloy is more than 10 wt%.
