An authentication facilitator method for use over the Internet for a third party to facilitate a first party to authenticate a second party, comprises: registering by the first and second parties with the third party; connecting by the first party to the second party and requesting a transaction; sending by the second party an address of the third party to the first party; performing by the first and second parties mutual authentications with the third party; generating by the third party a random code upon successful mutual authentications; sending by the third party the random code and identification references of the first and second parties to the first party; sending by the third party the random code to the second party; verifying visually by the first party the two identification references; and upon successful verification of the identification references, connecting by the first party to the second party with the random code for conducting the transaction, the random code being used for final verification by the second party based on the random code received from the third party.
