Abstract

A stroller 20 comprises left and right front legs 22 each having a front wheel 21 at its lower end; push rods 25; and an X-shaped horizontal link 30 connecting the front legs 22 and the push rods 25. L-shaped brackets 27 are provided, each being pivotally mounted to the corresponding rear leg 24 at its one end and being pivotally connected near a distal end of the corresponding push rod 25 at its intermediate portion. At a lower end of each push rod 25, a locking sleeve 45 having a locking piece 45b is slidably provided. On the surface of each bracket 27 facing the corresponding push rod 25, a first recess 46a is formed such that it can be engaged with the locking piece 45b provided to the locking sleeve 45 when the stroller is unfolded. An elastic piece 27a is provided adjacent to each first recess 46a of the bracket 27. The elastic piece 27a can be engaged with the corresponding locking sleeve 45 when the locking sleeve 45 is pulled up and the locking piece 45b of the locking sleeve 45 is disengaged from the first recess 46a of the bracket 27. In this case, the elastic piece 27a holds the locking piece 45b to be disengaged from the first recess 46a of the bracket 27.
