Abstract
COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND COMMUNICATION METHOD [] A communication apparatus and a communication method for performing wireless data transmission using multiple channels are provided. The communication apparatus operating as a base station includes: a communication section that transmits and receives a wireless signal; and a control section that controls a channel used by a subordinate wireless terminal, the control section designates a first transmission scheme to a first wireless terminal that uses a specific primary channel, and designates a second transmission scheme different from the first transmission scheme to a second wireless terminal that uses a non-primary channel that does not include the primary channel. The second transmission scheme has a lower data rate or higher transmission power than that of the first transmission scheme. Fig. 6
