Abstract

In one aspect of the present invention, a base station includes an index generation unit configured to generate an index indicating a time- 5 domain location of a synchronization signal block where a synchronization signal or a physical broadcast channel is placed; and a transmission unit configured to transmit a portion of the index using one or more synchronization signal of a primary 10 synchronization signal, a secondary synchronization signal, and a tertiary synchronization signal and transmit a remaining portion of the index using the physical broadcast channel. 15 Fig. 5C
