Abstract
Title: FEEDBACK TECHNIQUES FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS (57) : Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are de- scribed that provide for generation of an encoded transport block (TB) that includes a number of systematic code blocks (CBs) and a number of parity CBs. The systematic CBs may be transmitted to a receiver, and the receiver may attempt to decode the sys- tematic CBs. In some cases, one or more parity CBs may be transmitted with the sys- tematic CBs, and the systematic CBs may be successfully decoded even in the event that one or more of the systematic CBs are not successfully received. In some cases, a receiver may provide feedback that requests that additional CBs be transmitted to decode the systematic CBs that were received, and it is not necessary to retransmit the missing systematic CBs.
