Abstract
The application provides a method of encoding binary data, the method comprising: obtaining binary data having a length of k bytes, where k is a natural number, and using a predetermined encoding algorithm to convert the k bytes of the binary data into (k+t) bytes of 7- 5 bit encoded data, where t is a minimum integer greater than or equal to k./7. The technical solution in the application can generate an encoded file having a length less than that of a Base64 encoded file, requiring less data traffic in network transmission, and being suitable for an application scenario having strict requirements. 10
