18123 /PCT FILTER CLEANING DEVICE AND AIR CONDITIONER A filter cleaning device (1) includes : a rotational cleaning unit (2) ; a dust container (3) ; a cover (4) that is attached to an o pening (3a) of the dust container (3) ; and a 5 duster (5) that is provided to the cover (4) , wherein the cover (4) has an opening (4a) and is arranged such that a part of the rotational cleaning unit (2) projects through the opening (4a) , the rotational cleaning unit (2) is attachable and detachable and is rotatably supported in the vicinity of the 10 opening (3a) of the dust container (3) , top edges (3g) of at least three side walls of the dust container (3) , including side walls at the opposite ends of the dust container (3) in the axial direction of the rotational cleaning unit (2) , are positioned higher than a bottommost part (2c) of the 15 rotational cleaning unit (2) , and the duster (5) extends from the cover (4) toward the interior of the dust container (3). This makes it possible to provide a filter cleaning device that is capable of reducing the frequency of dust disposal by including a dust container capable of containing a large 20 amount of dust and that also allows for easy dust disposal, and to provide an air conditioner including the filter cleaning device.
