Abstract
Method and system for designing aircraft The invention relates to a method (10) and a system (1) for designing aircraft, in particular passenger aircraft and freight aircraft in the civil sector. The method according to the invention comprises the steps: a. defining an initial catalog of requirements for at least one aircraft design (step 11); b. carrying out optimization of the at least one aircraft design on the basis of the catalog of requirements in terms of the anticipated operating costs (step 13); c. simulating a predefined total flight network with the at least one aircraft design and determining the total flight network efficiency (step 18); d. checking whether the determined total flight network efficiency constitutes an optimum (step 19); if not: e. adapting the catalog of requirements (steps 19 and 12) and performing iteration starting from step (b). The system (1) according to the invention is designed to carry out this method (10). Fig. 1
