Abstract

BIODEGRADABLE POLYMER COMPOSITIONS USING A WASTE FISHING NET AND FISH TRAP PRODUCED THEREFROM The present invention relates to biodegradable polymer compositions using a waste fishing net and fish trap produced therefrom, having properties advantageous for applying to a fish trap using a waste fishing net, virgin biodegradable polymer and biodegradable catalyst as well as making regulate biodegradation within the period of 6 months to 5 years based 10 on excellent biodegradation in sea water. The biodegradable polymer compositions using a waste fishing net comprises 40 to 70% by weight of a waste fishing net pellet; 20 to 40% by weight of polybutylene succinate or polybutylene succinate/polybutylene adipate terephthalate polymer as a 15 virgin biodegradable polymer; 1 to 15% by weight of a biodegradable catalyst; and 1 to 5% by weight of barium sulfate.
