Abstract

An automatic artificial human-like massaging apparatus is capable of giving various kinds of massage performed with an artificial finger, palm, elbow or another shape to provide various massage techniques, such as pressing and rubbing. The apparatus has a massage module with the shape and structure similar to a certain portion of human body. The massage module is coated with the soft material and integrated with various sensors and heating elements. The artificial human-like massage module is driven by specially designed rotation module which allows it to perform circular rubbing while allowing the module to remain the same orientation. The massage module is driven by a force control module which allows it to apply different forces during massage treatment according to the input command. This automatic artificial massage apparatus has a connecting module which allows it to work independently or to be attached to other devices or robots to perform more complicated tasks. FIG. 1
