Abstract

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ACCESS TO A RENTAL OBJECT A system and a method for controlling access to a rental object are disclosed. The system includes a processor and a memory unit coupled to the processor. The rental object is connected to a network. The memory unit is configured to store data received from a customer device. The data includes a code associated with the rental object and a payment request message responsive to the code. The processor is configured to process the payment request message and simultaneously instruct a merchant device, via the network, to enable the rental object for use by the customer. FIG. 1
