Abstract

The packaging is assembled from a blank by pressing pairs of fold lines (3-10) at right angles to the corrugation direction to form a first pair of flaps along two sides of the blank, which are then folded inwards against the middle section (15) of the blank, and then a further two pairs of fold lines (11-14) are pressed parallel to the corrugation directions to form a second pair of flaps (20, 21) extending at right angles to the first pair and having a combined width which is the same as or slightly different from that of the middle section of the blank. Independent claims are also included for (a) a method for making the packaging from cardboard or similar material, and (b) a method for the use of the packaging.
