Abstract
The invention relates to a heat exchanger for transferring heat between media with different temperatures flowing through the heat exchanger, whereby the heat exchanger includes a first flow path for leading through a heat-emitting medium and a second flow path for leading through a heat-adsorbing medium where each flow path has an inlet and an outlet for the said respective medium. To allow a high speed of flow through the heat exchanger without this adversely affecting the recovery of heat between the heat-emitting medium and the heat-adsorbing medium, the heat-adsorbing flow path is enclosed by the heat-emitting glow path and the said flow paths are defined by a first and a second tube-shaped part (1, 2) where one is accommodated in the other so that a continuous column (10) is demarcated between the said parts, whereby the medium is arranged to pass through each respective tube-shaped part while executing a screw-like vortex motion where the exit of the heat-adsorbing medium takes place from the axial centre of the tube-shaped part (2).
