Abstract

The amplification circuit has at least two parallel signal paths connected between the circuit input (IN) and the circuit output (OUT), each containing an amplifier (V1,V2,V3) operated in a saturation mode. The amplifiers provide respective power output values (Pout) and are individually activated and de-activated via control signals (s1,s2,s3). Preferably a frequency selective load (L) is used to terminate the amplifier. An Independent claim for an application of the power amplification circuit in a cordless communication system is also included.
