Abstract

Processor (7) of processing unit (2) preprocesses current biometric data and transfers it to processor (5) of smart card (1) through communication units (3,4). Processor (5) of smart card (1) compares received preprocessed biometric data with biometric reference data stored beforehand in memory (6) of smart card (1).
