Abstract

A connecting processor (11) is arranged to receive the parameters associated with a calling party (1) from a database upon identification of a unique name if the calling party is present in the database (14,19). The database stores the unique name of each individual calling party together with the associated parameters. An input unit (12) is arranged to connect the connecting processor to the connecting component (3) of the calling party. An output connection (13) is arranged to connect the connecting processor to a called party (8). The connecting processor identifies the calling party by the unique name, receives the parameters, and sets a connection between the calling party and the called party. An Independent claim is also included for a digital telecommunication connection setting method.
