Abstract

The four-wheel drive vehicle has a slip clutch (14) between the main differential (9) and at least one of the wheels (7, 8) to limit the drive torque. The main differential divides the drive torque asymmetrically, with more of it on the second axle (3). This torque can be redistributed between the two axles (3, 6) when one of them slips.
