Abstract

The endoscope has a detachable flexible cover, which covers at least the front end of a fiber optic. A transparent window seals the front end of the cover. The space between the rear end of the window and the front end of the fiber optic is filled with a liquid (3), which provides the optical contact between the window inner surface and the fiber optic front end. The refractive index of the liquid is the same as the refractive index of the window material.
