Abstract

The press plate (24) abuts against the top side of the cutting plate (11) and has a female cavity mating with a male profile (23) on the front of a clamp used to urge the press and cutting plates together. The hardness and toughness of the press plate are greater than the clamp material. The front part of the press plate comprises a wedge section and an essentially convex-shaped rear section.
