Abstract

A system for requesting and distributing information comprises a requesting system and a distributing system. The requesting system comprises a requesting symbol presented in an electronic document, e.g. on a web page. The distributing system comprises a database means and a processing means. According to a method of the invention the requesting symbol is presented on a display of an electronic device, said symbol being related to first specific information and associated with a first information identifier. As a response to a first requesting symbol being activated and an information receiving address being indicated by a user, said specific information is requested by the distributing system over a network from an information storage address corresponding to said information identifier.
