Abstract

A strapping device (201) comprising a longitudinal band (202) and a locking head (203) has a partially surrounding form and at least a first locking means (207, 207', 208, 208'). The band (202) comprises (209) a longitudinal locking section (209) with several other locking means (210, 210', 211, 211') are designed to interact with the first locking means and permit an insertion of the first end of the band (205) and a following feeding of at least a part of the locking section (209) in the locking head (203). The band (202) and the locking head (203) are formed in a single piece of metal or metal alloy, whereby the dimensions of the surrounded form and the first end occurs are adjusted to permit that the insertion of the first end (205) occurs essentially perpendicular to the plane of the band at the second end (206). The first and the second locking means comprises at least a tongue (207, 207', 208, 208') which points inclined in the direction of the feeding and is intended to at and upon the feeding by resilience interact with at least one formed by line of edges of the locking section or of the locking head (210, 210', 211, 211') to make the feeding irreversible. The strapping device is preferably used as a hose clip and/or bundling band, for instance at mounting of a vehicle or a craft with an engine.
