Abstract
The drill bit comprises a hard metal material containing submicron tungsten particles and cobalt as a sintering aid, and a diamond particle tip. - A drill bit used for drilling printed circuit boards (PCB's) comprises a hard metal material with a diamond tip. The diamond particles have an average size of 0.1-10 microns and the hard metal material contains submicron tungsten carbide particles and 5-12 wt.% cobalt as a sintering aid.
