Abstract

The support hook is for the retention of a relatively light object, such as a field computer, measurement instrument, control unit, photographic equipment, on the front of the body of a user. The support hook (1) has a centrally arranged fron tpart (3) extending from the abdomen of the user over the chest for attachment of the item to be carried. The front part, immediately in front of the neck of the wearer and above their chest, is pivoted upwards a predetermined distance from the neck, then to pivot downwards to the back of the head to an extent which permits the rear part of the hook to extend downwards over the shoulder blade of the wearer.
