Abstract

The table legs comprise a top section joined to the work surface, a bottom section telescopically joined to the top section, and an elongated force transfer mechanism designed to pull the bottom end of the top section away from the top end of the bottom section, raising the work surface. The force transfer mechanism comprises toothed belts which can be fixed into position relative to each other by a locking mechanism.
