Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for timber drying, in which a number of timber packets (2) are placed in a delimited room (4) through which a stream of air flows and in which the interstices (6) which exist between the packets (2) and the walls (8) and ceiling (10) of the room are screened off to force the air through the timber packets (2). The invention is characterized in that inflatable elements comprising springy devices (20) are used for the screening.
