Abstract
A pressure control switch for monitoring a system pressure of a vacuum operated system, comprising a flexible diaphragm (17) that is received in a house (1) such that one side of the diaphragm is exposed to system pressure and the other side is exposed to the atmosphere, said diaphragm comprising an electrically conductive layer (19) in engagement with contacts (21, 22) arranged on an electronic circuit (7) that is received in the house. The conductive layer (19) is formed to have a pressure dependant conductivity and is electrically connected to a voltage dependant switch.
