Abstract

The present invention relates to an arrangement (2) that can be moved across a supporting surface (1). The arrangement includes a bottom part (2a), a top part (2b) and an inner part (2c). The bottom part (2a) can be moved and/or displaced over the supporting surface (1) with the aid of an air cushion (L) situated between the bottom part and the supporting surface and exerting a lifting force on said bottom part, and can be held firmly against said supporting surface (1) in a chosen setting, by removing the lifting effect of the air cushion. Means (20) can coact with the inner part (2c) of the arrangement (2) to fixate said inner part relative to the supporting surface (1) and the bottom and top parts can be moved relative to said inner part via movement generating means (30, 40, 50) disposed within said bottom and top parts (2a) and (2b) respectively. Two movement generating means (30, 50) are adapted to provide rotary movement and one means (40) is adapted to provide linear movement.
