Abstract

Method and device for purification of sewage water and surface water. After collecting, the water is lead to a first basin system with at least one sedimentation basin (10) for deposit of larger, solid particles. After the sedimentation basin (10) the water is lead to an open filter bed (28) with sorbent material over which the settled water is distributed. After the passage through the filter bed (28) the water is brought to flow in a second basin system (30), which is ended by a further sorbent filter system (34) from which the water is lead away to further treatment or outlet.
