Guide light system for safety purposes comprises: - (a) an electroluminescent wire (2), which shines when an electric voltage is applied to an end of the wire; and - (b) a voltage source for supplying the electroluminescent wire. - The end of the wire is arranged in a holder (3) to be mounted in a suitable position.
